Nat attends Alcoholics Anonymous<\/a> meetings only because her probation after the car wreck requires it, not because she needs to.<\/p>\n

Finding connections there with her mentor and with a cool older guy is a bonus, especially after her party-friends at school snub her.<\/p>\n

But there’s something more, and maybe she does need help to get through all this.<\/p>\n

Check with your local library<\/a> (National Library Week is every week, right?) or independent bookstore<\/a> for this January 2016 title with strong characters who are weak at their cores.<\/p>\n
